I’ve been to physical therapy for various injuries in the past and I had a pretty negative opinion of the effectiveness of Physical Therapy, I felt it was mostly required by the insurance industry to get you to quit so they would get out of paying for a needed surgery. That was my opinion until recently. After a shoulder injury, I was sent to Great Lakes by my family doctor. I went along to play the game so eventually I could get a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. My experience with the staff at Great Lakes has completely changed my opinion on Physical Therapy. Everything about this practice has been positive from the way the practice is run to the treatment by the therapists themselves. They are much more attentive and hands on than any other experience I’ve had. I can actually see and feel the benefits I’ve received from their treatment. I would, and have, highly recommended them to family and friends.
